The fashion color “Nude” was
originally limited, named after
Western-European skin tones;
pale shades of the mixture of
brown and white, close to beige.

But the term “nude” has expanded now, not only in fashion, but also in society as it embraces diversity to
include, not only beige, but all skin tones like browns, tan & even white.
